Yes, the two day Ready to Run Sale kicks off today at New Zealand Bloodstock's Karaka venue.

Te Akau's David Ellis and Jamie Richards have our short list all drawn up and we are ready to buy some cracking two year olds to join our No.1 stable - and shares will be available from today.

Better still, come out to Karaka and sit with the team and enjoy the atmosphere of the sale yourself - we will make you very welcome.

This is a sale that has been hugely successful for Te Akau owners - we purchased trans-Tasman Group 1 winner Te Akau Shark from this sale. The previous year we only purchased to horses - who won four Group 1 races between them - Hall of Fame and Gingernuts. Champion Singapore Polytrack Horse of the Year Flying Fulton was also purchased by us from this sale and trained at our Kranji stable by Mark Walker.
