Record Season on Track

Te Akau is on track to set a new record for stakes' earnings in a season.  In New Zealand, we will go closze to again earning $1 million for the season and in Singapore - after only five months of this season - we will hit the $2 million mark in prize money very soon (only less than $40,000 away).

Of course this huge success in Singapore is also reflective of the terrific stakes on offer there - racing in Singapore is very "owner-supportive" - in terms of stakes' returns and of course there is the $900 starter incentive fee for every horse as long as it isn't first or last!

The stakes' earnings tally is very important to us because it is all about returns to (and thrills for) ours owners - Te Akau is proud of these results as we continue with our one driving aim - to win races for our owners!

So three milestones are close - Mark is closing in on 1000 training successes, Te Akau Singapore is close to the $2 million in stakes earnings and overall - NZ and Singapore - we will have a record year of returns to our owners!
