Riccarton Trackwork Update
Riccarton Park trackwork highlights - Tuesday 30 October -

The rain gauge showed 15mm of rain had fallen in the 48 hours leading up to this morning's session for which the plough was closed and only the No 7 grass was open for fast work. After overnight rain the session began in fine weather on footing hardly effected by the rain and which produced good times. Drizzle and then rain fell at the midpoint which saw the track cut-out slightly and the damp, misty landscape reducing visibility and times.

Two that impressed this morning were Fairlight who went alone from the 600m in 35.5, and Miss Maxipark (Morris) who was also timed only from the 600m in an identical 35.5. Tee Cee Coup (Shaikh) and an unknown companion were timed from the 600m in 35.6

Oceans of Champagne (Richards) galloped with stablemate Sentito over 1000m in 1.04.2, increasing the tempo for a final 600m in 35.7.
