Ripper of a Day

Congratulations to Te Akau stable rider Matt Cameron.

As we know, Matt is chasing down his first Jockeys' Premiership after having just missed out on the final day of the season last year.  He is determined to make this year, his year and we are right behind you Matt!

On Monday there were only five races programmed at Avondale and Matt won three of them - what a great effort!  Included in those wins was one of our favourites Polarity, a horse who we know as Hugo.  Our lovely grey boy dug deep for Matt to win - well done to and we are delighted to continue to contribute to your winning tally Matt!

So now Matt is dead even with Opie leading the Premiership.  With only six meetings remaining and Matt travelling to them all, we know it will be close but we will be cheering Matt on!
