Rock 'n' Pop Rippers

As we reported earlier in the week, the long-awaited first foals of the formerly Te Akau trained stallion Rock 'n' Pop have arrived and we are thrilled to share some early photos with you (thanks to Mark, Ange and the Waikato Stud team)!

Waikato Stud's Mark Chittick commented: "We are delighted to be able to now present this impressive trio of foals by the G1 winning son of Fastnet Rock.  They are a similar line-up with good muscle, good bone and correct. He looks to be stamping them.”

"Going on her previous foals, the mare needed strength and size and this foal certainly has both and has been stamped very like his father,” said Mark.

ROCK 'N' POP ex PROPINQUITY (Pins) filly - above & main picture

“The mare possesses a beautiful pedigree. This is her first foal and would be classed as a really good maiden mare's foal,” said Mark.

ROCK 'N' POP ex O'DARE (O'Reilly) filly

“Also a maiden mare 's first foal. This foal is out of a young O'Reilly mare, and is a lovely filly for Tom and Sally Lowry, who were involved in racing Rock N Pop himself,” said Mark.
