SENZ Racing Radio

I am thrilled to hear the news that there's a new radio station SENZ that has taken the racing world by force. This is a very exciting initiative for the racing industry and is involves lots of racing personalities including new young talent.

Last season Te Akau worked closely with award-winning producer Louis Herman-Watt on Te Akau TV. We are really pleased to hear he is involved with both the production and presentation side of SENZ. He is a young industry talent who I really rate and has a tremendous amount of ability. As some of you have may not have enjoyed this video that we made with Louis at Karaka I thought I would share it again so you can see how naturally talented he is.

The SENZ programme also features Brendon McCullum, a cricket legend, and a man that knows as much about racing as anybody - alongside another sporting legend in Ian Smith.

The new programme starts in coming days and I will let you know exactly what date it starts. I understand that it is going to be on the old Radio Trackside frequencies so this is some really good news for the industry.

SENZ is also 'putting its money where its mouth is' and has been announced as proud sponsor of the NZTR Horse Of The Year Awards in September.
