Spring is Sprung

At Te Akau Stud we simply love this time of the year - aside from the farm looking simply magnificent - it is the time of the year when our mares begin foaling and we await each new arrival's news with hug anticipation.
This year we will have about 25 foals expected and here are the births to date:

We eagerly await more news of another 13 new arrivals due in the next 10-14 days of October!
The pictured mare is Le Bec Fin mare Fidelitis and her Alamosa colt who arrived home to Te Akau Stud on Tuesday.
