STOP PRESS - Te Akau Strikes Early at Magic Millions

It only took three lots to go through the Magic Millions' sale ring today before David Ellis made Te Akau's presence felt.

David struck very early and secured a ripper colt by dual Group 1 Cox Plate winner So You Think for A$165,000 (Lot 1404).    He was presented by Gerry Harvey's Baramul Stud and carries his famous breeders' hugely successful brand.

Shares are available now in this powerful, good looking boy - you should see the walk on him, all muscle and well developed.  A strong bodied colt who really takes the eye.

By a turf champion, he is from a More Than Ready mare, his grand dam the stakes' winning Zabeel mare Primrose Sands who won nine times.  

This is the family of Group 1 Railway winner Valencia and Group 1 Australian Derby winner Ethiopia and others successful horses such as Vice Regal and Sky Chase - can't wait for him to hit our shores next week!  He's a beauty!
