She Strikes a Chord

Commentators and observers have noted in the last 24 hours since Abidewithme's stirring win in the $100,000 Group 2 Travis Stakes that it could have not been a more appropriate win - given it was ANZAC Day.

The very poignant hymn was sun at all the dawn services in honour of the fallen - including not only New Zealand but in London attended by our daughter Lydia and also at the Gallipoli service itself.

I was also a terrific thrill for rider Michael McNab who secured his first ever black type win - and his joy was obvious!
