Super Shillelagh Heads Across The Ditch

We are pleased to advise you that Shillelagh left our Matamata stable this morning to join our Group One winning, Champion 3YO Xtravagant in Melbourne.

A daughter of Savabeel, Shillelagh has won four races from six starts and is being aimed towards the fillies' and mares' races throughout the Melbourne Spring.

She will begin her preparation next Friday at the Flemington jump outs before she heads to the races. She is pencilled in to have her first start at Sandown on Wednesday 7 September 7 in a Benchmark 1200 metre event.
