Sydney Rider Confirmed for Shark & Probabeel

Te Akau Racing is delighted to announce that trans-Tasman Champion jockey James McDonald has been engaged to rider Te Akau Shark and Probabeel at Royal Randwick on Saturday week, 7 September.

Te Akau Shark will be nominated for the A$175,000 Group 2 Tramway Stakes over 1400m while Karaka Million winner Probabeel lines up in the A$200,000 Group 2 Furious Stakes SW over 1200m for 3YO fillies.

When residing in New Zealand, James was previously a stable rider for Te Akau Racing and has long had a close association and friendship with Te Akau Principal David Ellis.
