Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven race programme on Friday 11 March at Ashburton.

As on race morning the conditions were: fine and Good2, rail out 3 metres 1400m - 400m. No rain forecast.

2.18 p.m. R4 2 Madame Jamai (4 m Minstrel Court - Palais Jamai) - Krishna Mudhoo (a3); recorded a dominant win in the Rating 75 1200 metres on 19 February at Riccarton, where she has won three of her four starts, and with the apprentice claim she carries less (56kgs) than she did last start. Facing only four rivals in the corresponding race, she has the right form, jockey, and footing to prove competitive again.
