Te Akau Australia Thursday Preview

Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Thursday 30 May at Hamilton (Victoria).

1:40 p.m. (NZ time) R1 7 Prismatic (5 g Savabeel – Kaleidoscope) – Aaron Kuru; he ran on well from beyond midfield for sixth in the Benchmark 70 2080 metres on 24 May at Cranbourne, and contests the A$35,000 Maiden Hurdle (3200m). He finished fourth at his sole hurdle start earlier in season at Hastings, and has a good record around 3000m–3200m, and the top rider aboard is a plus. 

3:40 p.m. (NZ time) R4 7 The Mighty Spar (6 g Savabeel – O’Dianne) – Aaron Kuru; he finished fourth in the Galleywood Hurdle (3200m) on 1 May at Warrnambool, and contests the A$35,000 Hammonds Paints Steeplechase (3450m). He has a very good jumps' record, also has the top rider aboard, and rates a top three chance.
