12.11 p.m. R1 6 Sizzler (3 f Sizzling - O'Raghailligh) - Chelsea Burdan (a2); resumes in the $15,000 Maiden 2YO & Up 1100 metres. Capable of racing handily from barrier two, she has good form on better footing in strong two-year-old fields and much will depend on handling conditions.

4.12 p.m. R8 8 Shebringsmerubies (4 m Sebring - Run Away Ruby) - Joe Kamaruddin (a4); finished fifth resuming in the $15,000 Rating 65 1400 metres on 4 July at Te Rapa, with Kamaruddin aboard, and contests the corresponding event. Runner-up on Heavy10 before winning on Slow7 last September, she is a consistent performer and rates an each way chance.
