Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine race programme on Wednesday 17 August at Avondale.

As on race monring the conditions were: fine and Heavy10, rail true. No rain forecast.

1.20 p.m. R3 9 Cabaret (4 m Showcasing - Something Majic) - Cameron Lammas; never got into the contest at Tauranga, after resuming here with a win in the Maiden Fillies and Mares 1200 metres on Heavy10. Given 35 days since racing should see her present spritely and with the additions of a nasal strip and nose band a good performance in a strong field for the Rating 65 1200 metres would be encouraging.
