Te Akau Avondale Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Friday 9 June at Avondale.
As on Thursday 8 June the conditions were: fine and Heavy11, rail out 5 metres. No rain forecast.

3.57 p.m. R7 12 Abbey Kay (3 f Keeper - Abbey Tralae) - Michael McNab; produced a notable performance on Heavy11 when coming from sixth to finish fourth in the Rating 65 1400 metres on Saturday 21 May at Rotorua. Drawn barrier five in the $10,000 Rating 65 1400 metres, she won her Maiden going right-handed with McNab aboard at Te Aroha. Her dam, Abbey Tralae (Traditionally), impressed winning on slow ground at this time of year, and a filly that tries hard she rates a top five chance in a solid line-up.
