He ran the fastest 600m on the day (37.2) when getting home strongly for third to race rival Inca Warrior (Per Incanto) in the Rating 72 1200 metres on 23 June at Te Aroha. Finishing second in two trials here before racing, second in both subsequent races on the course, he has won over 1200 metres on heavy footing, and rates a top three chance.
