2.17 p.m. R4 5 Super Sid (4 g Rip Van Winkle - Half Bak) - Opie Bosson; did his best work past the post when resuming in the Maiden 1100 metres on 12 August at Taupo, quinelled by stable-mates Ocean Belle (Ocean Park) and Vamos Bebe (I Am Invincible), and contests the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres. A three-quarter brother to dual Group 1 winning stable-mate Te Akau Shark (Rip Van Winkle), winner of seven from 14 and $1.5m, he is destined to go further and look for him finding the line again. Fixed odds: $10.00 & $2.80. 





4.04 p.m. R7 1 Vamos Bebe (4 m I Am Invincible - Hurtle Myrtle) - Danielle Johnson; ran the fastest last 600m (34.9) finishing a close second to stable-mate Ocean Belle (Ocean Park) when resuming in the Maiden 1100 metres on 12 August at Taupo, and contests the $10,000 NZB Insurance Pearl Series 1200 metres (eligible $11,500 bonus). Her dam, Hurtle Myrtle (Dane Shadow), won the Myer Classic (Gr. 1, 1600m), Dane Ripper Stakes (Gr. 2, 1400m) and Sapphire Stakes (Gr. 2, 1200m), and she has the quality to race well again. Fixed odds: $2.00 & $1.25.
