Te Akau NZ trainer Jason Bridgman lines up one runner in the last on the Avondale programme on Friday 23 January 2015.
As of Thursday 22 January the weather was fine, the track rated a Good 3 with the rail out 1m.
5:35pm R9 8 Alchemy's Flight - Lee Magorrian; comes off a good effort for third at Awapuni last start on Boxing Day in this grade over the same distance. While slow away, she fought on well to the finish for a much improved effort off the pace. Apprentice Lee Magorrian provides 2kg weight relief and with some luck in the running she can go close in what looks to be an even line up. One of two in the race for Te Akau.
