12.02 p.m. R1 3 Bonita Aurelia  (3 f Sweynesse - Cassie May) - Danielle Johnson; resumed with notable effort for third against good opponents in the 3YO 1200 metres on 20 March at Tauranga, and steps up in the $25,000 3YO 1400 metres. Winner of the Woburn Farm 2YO Classic (Gr. 3, 1200m) and third in the Matamata Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 2, 1200m), she rates a top three chance.

2.22 p.m. R5 7 Remington  (6 g Darci Brahma - Kudamm) - Danielle Johnson; continued very good form when closing strongly for third in the Bay of Plenty Cup (Open, 1400m) on 27 March at Tauranga, and steps up in the $37,500 Fasttrack Insurance Open 1550 metres. Placed on the course at his only attempt, he brings the right form to rate a top three chance.

4.06 p.m. R8 1 Savy Yong Blonk  (5 m Savabeel - Ampin) - Danielle Johnson; freshened after winning the City of Auckland Cup (Gr. 3, 2400m) on 1 January, she resumed with a top run for second in the Royal Descent Stakes (1600m) on Auckland Cup Day (13 March). Ideally drawn (2) in the $70,000 Japac Homes Manawatu Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 3, 2000m), she rates a top three chance. Fixed odds: $2.50 & $1.35.
