1.55 p.m. R4 1 Probabeel (3 f Savabeel - Far Fetched)
- Opie Bosson; freshened after finishing second in the Flight Stakes (Gr. 1, 1600m), following second in the
Tea Rose Stakes (Gr. 2, 1400m) and fourth in the Furious Stakes (Gr. 2, 1200m)
during the Princess Series at Randwick, Sydney. The $1m Karaka Million
(Restricted Listed, 1200m) winner in January last year, she did everything
right during an exhibition gallop between races on 28 December at Matamata, and
head and shoulders above this field in the $25,000 3YO 1400 metres.





2.30 p.m. R5 4 Weaponry (4 g Declaration of War - Cat Shmea) - Opie Bosson;
recorded his fourth win from nine starts when lifting stylishly in the Rating
72 1400 metres on 13 December at Tauranga, after being claimed on the line here
by subsequent winner Sinarahma (Darci Brahma). Stepping up in the $30,000
Rating 82 1600 metres, he won the Southland Guineas (Listed, 1600m) last season
and rates a top three chance from barrier eight.
