The start prior, he quickened from midfield for fourth in the Listed VRC St Leger over 2800m on 25 April at Flemington which was a good effort in city company. Contesting the A$27,000 Benchmark 58 2200m, the apprentice engagement brings weight relief to 60kg and while he has the ability to prove competitive, his wide gate (14) makes things challenging.
