12:32 p.m. R1 1 Stonybreck (3 g Tavistock - Fair Isle) - Michael McNab; he strode clear late to win stylishly when resuming in the Rating 75 1200 metres on 16 June and was strong again when second in the Rating 75 1400 metres on 7 July, both on the poly-track at Awapunui. A debut winner at his only course attempt, while he is stepping up in distance, he rates a top three chance from barrier two in the $14,000 3YO 1550 metres with the country's leading rider engaged. 

3:29 p.m. R6 2 Luxuriant (5 m Iffraaj - Opulent) - Michael McNab; she has been given time (33-days) since finding the Heavy9 going too testing after leading in the Rating 60 1340 metres on 23 June at Wanganui. She produced a good effort for third in the Rating 65 970 metres here in May, and rates an each-way chance from barrier two in the $14,000 Rating 60 970 metres.
