2:27 p.m. R5 1 Polly Plum (5 m Xtravagant – Herstory) – Jess Allen (a3); she did well off a three-wide trip for a notable fourth in the Rating 65 1215 metres on 11 May at Rotorua, and contests the $17,000 Entain – NZB Insurance Pearl Series Rating 65 Fillies & Mares 1300 metres (eligible $26,000 bonuses). She has performed well here in trials, enjoys weight relief to 57kg, has blinkers on, and rates a top three chance from barrier four - one of two in the event for the stable. Fixed odds: $7.50 & $2.60. 

2:27 p.m. R5 6 Luxuriant (6 m Iffraaj – Opulent) – Opie Bosson; she won easing down by three and a half lengths in the Rating 60 970 metres here on 15 May, also with Bosson aboard, and likewise contests the $17,000 Entain – NZB Insurance Pearl Series Rating 65 Fillies & Mares 1300 metres. She brings a good course record to the equation and also looks a top three prospect if she can secure a decent trip from barrier nine. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.10.
