12.30 p.m. R2 5 La Flora Belle (4 m Iffraaj - Tsarina Belle) - Danielle Johnson; lifted to stylishly win when trialling here in August, and wound up strongly from last to finish fourth when resuming in the Maiden 1300 metres on 2 September. Likely to get back again from barrier 10, she rates a top three chance stepping in distance for the $12,000 Maiden 1550 metres. She is a three-quarter sister to former stable-mate and dual Horse of the Year Melody Belle (Commands), winner of 14 Group 1 races.
1.05 p.m. R3 7 Feelin' Fancy (5 m Rip Van Winkle - Frivolous) - Joe Kamaruddin (a2); was fine in the straight over a sprint trip when trialling here on 3 September, and resumes in the $12,000 Rating 74 1300 metres. Stylish winning twice to 1600 metres last season, she has weight relief to 53.5kg and should be competitive from barrier one.
1.05 p.m. R3 8 Vincere (5 m Pins - Lasting Luck) - Danielle Johnson; closed the margin when trialling here on 3 September, and resumes in the $12,000 Rating 74 1300 metres. A consistent performer and dual winner, she should be making the most of her advantageous barrier (2).
1.40 p.m. R4 8 Pure Imagination (3 c Darci Brahma - Granadilla) - Danielle Johnson; led on the bridle when winning a trial here in August, and looked winning on debut in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 4 September at Te Rapa. Stepping up in the $12,000 Rating 65 1300 metres, he rates a top three chance from barrier one.
2.15 p.m. R5 1 Flat Track Bully (4 g Reliable Man - Lime Squeeze) - Danielle Johnson; was good through the line when winning and finishing second, respectively, here at the trials and did well from a wide draw (10) when second here on debut in the $12,000 Maiden 1300 metres on 2 September. In the corresponding race, he rates a top three prospect from barrier four.
2.15 p.m. R5 7 Rip Van Gogh (4 g Rip Van Winkle - On the Move) - Michael McNab; looked good finishing third and fifth, respectively, when trialling here and tracked home stable-mate La Flora Belle (above) when resuming here on 2 September in the $12,000 Maiden 1300 metres. He is capable of further improvement from barrier six in the corresponding race.
2.15 p.m. R5 9 Wychwood (4 m Rip Van Winkle - Patrimonium) - Joe Kamaruddin (a2); has been rolling on past the post when trialling here, and debuts in the $12,000 Maiden 1300 metres. Ideally drawn, and with weight relief to 54.5kg, her dam won three times to 1600 metres.
2.50 p.m. R6 6 Belle En Rouge (3 f Burgundy - Cavendish Belle) - Joe Kamaruddin (a2); rounded off solidly to win a 950-metre trial here in August, and very good finishing second on debut in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 3 September at Hawera. With weight relief to 53.5kg, she has top three claims from barrier six in the $12,000 Maiden 3YO 1200 metres.
2.50 p.m. R6 8 Trieste (3 f Tivaci - Domani Oro) - Courtney Barnes; sustained her run off a wide trip for third when trialling here on 6 September, and resumes in the $12,000 Maiden 3YO 1200 metres. She requires luck from barrier 10.
3.29 p.m. R7 9 The Perfect Pink (3 f Savabeel - The Solitaire) - Michael McNab; was ridden patiently when making ground for fourth, resuming in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 4 September at Te Rapa. She looked good finishing third when trialling here in August, and rates a top three chance from barrier five in the $12,000 NZB Pearl Series Maiden Fillies & Mares 1300 metres.
4.04 p.m. R8 7 Zeitaku (3 c Savabeel - Miss Opulence) - Danielle Johnson; sprinted home to win impressively when trialling here on 6 September, and debuts in the $12,000 Maiden 970 metres. From the family of Champion Middle Distance Horse Sir Slick (Volksraad) and Champion Three-Year-Old, now stallion, Puccini (Encosta de Lago), he is ideally drawn (3) to threaten.
