Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Wednesday 1 June at Cambridge (synthetic).

Weather: fine, track: poly-track, rail: true. 5mls rain forecast Tuesday, 8mls Wednesday.

 

2:15 p.m. R5 10 Dame County (3 f Contributer - Dame Mapperley) - Opie Bosson; picked up again after a mid-straight check when debuting in a Pearl Series' Maiden 1200 metres on 13 May at Matamata, won by stable-mate Hayate (Maurice), and she contests the $12,000 Maiden 1300 metres. She finished second to dual winner and stakes' placed Alchemia (Per Incanto) when trialling here in April, and shapes to race well from barrier seven.

3:29 p.m. R7 13 Fun Fun Fun (3 f Iffraaj - It's All Fun) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); quickened home well between horses for fourth in a trial here on 22 March, before racing ungenerously debuting in a Maiden 1200 metres, won by stable-mate Pisco Sour (I Am Invincible), on 20 April at Matamata. Given time (42 days), she receives the opportunity to improve from barrier one in the $12,000 Maiden 970 metres.
