Heat 3 2YO 800 metres (1 ½ lengths, ¾ lengths 47.7)
Beacon of Hope (2 c Fastnet Rock - Randaroo) - Cameron Lammas; jumped away nicely to find a position midfield on the inner, showing good natural pace and travelled comfortably, working home between runners for fourth.
Heat 4 2YO 800 metres (short neck, 1 ¾ lengths 47.7)
2 f Shamoline Warrior - Amathea - Cameron Lammas (below purple and white colours); began smartly before steadying to trail and working clear at the 250m she rounded the trial off nicely for third.

Christine Louise (2 f O'Reilly - Happily Ever After) - Matt Cameron (below); was caught wide from an outside gate and remained deep throughout.

Heat 5 2YO 800 metres (½ a length, ½ a length 48.4)
Surreil (2 c O'Reilly - Suream) - Matt Cameron; jumped quickly to cross and lead and although travelling a bit keener than desired he kept on giving to finish second.
Royal Success (2 c Savabeel - Royal Show) - Cameron Lammas; was first out of the gates before steadying to trail in fourth and without a lot of room near the rail he went through the line with more to offer in third.
Heat 6 2YO 800 metres (½ a length, 1 ½ lengths 47.1)
Xtravagant (2 c Pentire - Axiom) - Cameron Lammas (main picture); jumped away well before being eased to midfield on the rail and although a bit green on the inside of horses he improved through the trial and ran on willingly once into the clear.
2 c Stratum - The Party Stand - Matt Cameron (below); was allowed to find his feet and found himself detached after becoming a bit stage stuck in the early rush.

Heat 18 Maiden 1400 metres (1 length, 3 ¼ lengths 1.25.1)
Super Power (4 m Alamosa - Key of Future) - Rory Hutchings; was asked to engage early, with blinkers on, and after travelling well in front was claimed in the straight.
