Te Akau Counties' Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight-race Counties Racing Club programme on Wednesday March 19 at Pukekohe Park.

As on Wednesday morning the conditions were: cloudy and Dead5, rail out 4 metres.

2:55pm R4 1 Stanica Star (7g Danzero - Stanica) - Daniel Miller - 70.5kgs(claims 3kgs); continues to race consistently well this preparation including back to back wins three and four starts ago.  Adept in the conditions he strikes today, he shapes as the one to beat in this field of highweight contestants who are viewing this race as a step towards winter campaigns.  His last start was fraught with bad luck when denied racing room in the home straight.  With Te Akau apprentice Daniel Miller, who knows the horse well, aboard Stanica Star receives a three kg relief from his top weight of 70.5kgs.  At 67.5kgs we look for him to be very competitive against this opposition.
