1:08 p.m. R1 11 Inca Belle (3 f Per Incanto - Belle Vie) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); she finished strongly for second in a trial on 4 August at Te Rapa, and debuts in the $14,000 Maiden 1100 metres. Her impressive winning (1400m - 1800m) grand-dam Our Ella Belle (Encosta de Lago) was a Group Three winner and Group One placed. She has looked good through her trials' stage, but requires luck from a wide draw (11).

4:32 p.m. R7 8 Elounda (4 m Contributer - Nomisma) - Michael McNab; she ran a very good debut second to stable-mate Kai (Iffraaj) in the Maiden 1200 metres 21 September and was the same again finishing second to dual stakes' placed stable-mate Romancing The Moon (El Roca) in the Maiden 1400 metres on 8 October, both at Matamata. Given time (31 days), she rates a top three chance from barrier four in the $14,000 Maiden 1400 metres.

5:10 p.m. R8 11 Skew Wiff (3 f Savabeel - Starvoia) - Craig Grylls; she followed two smart trial wins with an impressive victory, running the fastest last 600m (32.8) on day, in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 19 October at Tauranga. She looks a top three prospect in the $14,000 Rating 65 1300 metres.
