Te Akau Cranbourne Thursday Preview

Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Thursday 16 July at Cranbourne (Melbourne).

Cranbourne:

Weather: overcast, track: Heavy9, rail: out 4 metres. No rain forecast.

3:30 p.m. (NZ) - 1:30 p.m. (Vic) R2 6 Koko (3 f Written Tycoon – Tawteen) – Jackson Radley (a1.5kg); she ran home solidly for sixth on Heavy9 footing after steadying back beyond midfield in the Maiden 1005 metres on 28 June at Sale, and contests the A$42,500 Maiden 1000 metres. She fought hard for third the start prior when resuming, and has a strong pedigree behind her. With two seconds, two thirds, and a fourth placing from six starts, she's a super consistent filly who deserves to break through.  With weight relief to 56kg today, she's ideally drawn (2) to race well. NZ TAB fixed odds: $3.40 & $1.55.
