Te Akau Ellerslie Monday Preview
31 May, 2015
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the eight race programme on Queen's Birthday Monday 1 June at Ellerslie.
As on Sunday May 31 the conditions were: showery and Heavy11, rail out 3 metres.
2.25 p.m. R5 7 Highly Likely (4 g High Chaparral - Starrinka) - Matt Cameron; finished fifth on May 20 in the Rating 75 2100 metres on good going at Ruakaka, and now tackles the Rating 75 2200 metres in vastly different conditions. Already a winner over the same trip on Heavy11, like a few others in the race, he is capable of slogging it out.
4.13 p.m. R8 15 Hysteria Lane (3 f Perfectly Ready - Lane Cove) - Cameron Lammas; has done well since finishing fourth in the Rating 65 1200 metres here on Heavy11 footing last Saturday and contests the corresponding event. She has raced very well during this campaign, with a win, second and three fourths, and drawn to find the coveted outside strip she again rates a top four chance.
