Te Akau Ellerslie Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight race programme on Sunday 13 December at Ellerslie.

As on Saturday 12 December the conditions were: overcast and Good3; rail out 7.5 metres.

6.20 p.m. R8 14 Duchess Kate (3 f Savabeel - Royal Prize) - Michael Coleman; ran a creditable race for fifth in the Soliloquy Stakes (Listed, 1400m) at Ellerslie, despite not being comfortable on rain-affected slow footing, and has been freshened since. Resuming off 50 days in the $20,000 Rating 65 1200 metres, she meets a solid field but certainly displayed her wares when booming home for an impressive win in the Maiden 1300 metres on Oct. 17 at Taupo.
