Te Akau Ellerslie Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the six-race twilight programme on Wednesday Feb. 12 at Ellerslie.

As on Tuesday Feb. 11 the conditions were: overcast and Good3, rail out 12 metres.

7:33pm R6 6 Sir Darci (3 g Darci Brahma - Dominant) - Matt Cameron; was unable to get into the race, from back in the field, as rain tumbled down before and during the Karaka 3YO Mile (Listed, 1600m) on Jan. 26 at Ellerslie. He put in a brave performance for third after racing outside the leader from a wide gate here on Jan. 11 in the Benchmark 65 1400 metres, and back in his rightful grade over a mile from barrier three can see him return to form on good footing.
