2.15 p.m. R4 4 In A Twinkling (3 g Fastnet Rock - Moment in Time) - Opie Bosson; ran a very good race for fourth in the 2000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m) on Slow8 in November at Riccarton, and off 46 days contests the $60,000 Shaw's Wire Ropes Uncle Remus Stakes (Listed, 1400m). He outlined his competitiveness at this level during a spring campaign and likely to handle track conditions better than some. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $1.90.

2.50 p.m. R5 13 Meteoric Lass (4 m Stratum - Benatar) - Shafiq Rusof; kept going bravely for fourth in a very tight finish after working forward on a competitive pace in the Rating 72 1200 metres here on 8 December and contests the $50,000 corresponding event. The winner of two from four, she won her only start last season on Slow8 footing and won a trial on heavy before resuming, but would appreciate improving ground. Fixed odds: $5.00 & $1.95.
