Te Akau Ellerslie Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the six-race twilight programme on Wednesday Dec. 10 at Ellerslie.

As on Tuesday Dec. 9 the conditions were: drizzling and Good3, rail out 12 metres.

6.33 p.m. R4 1 Maestro (4 g Encosta De Lago - Miss Scarlatti) - Matt Cameron; did well finishing third when stifled for a run on a moderate tempo resuming in the Maiden 1400 metres on Nov. 9 at Hastings. Fitter for his first up run off 220-days and ideally drawn in barrier three for the Maiden 1600 metres, he meets a more competitive field but has shown good consistency in racing to date that should see him in the mix.
