Te Akau New Zealand has 11 horses racing on Saturday 28 November at Ellerslie.

Weather: cloudy, track: Dead5, rail: out 3 metres. No rain forecast.

12.45 p.m. R1 4 She's Not Bad (6 m He's Remarkable -
Andra) - Danielle Johnson; ran competitive time (34.9) when finishing fifth
fresh-up in the Open 1200 metres on 13 November at Awapuni, and steps up in the
$37,500 Open 1400 metres. Placed in two of three course attempts, she carries
minimum weight (54kgs) and rates a top three chance from barrier one. Fixed
odds: $4.00 & $1.50.

12.45 p.m. R1 6 Star of Bombay (4 m Atlante - Astardia)
- Craig Grylls; has been given time (28 days) since finishing fourth in the
Open 1300 metres on 31 October at Awapuni, and carries minimum weight (54kgs)
in the $37,500 Open 1400 metres. She recorded her second win here in the
Mufhasa Fasttrack Stakes (Listed, 1300m) on Derby Day (Feb. 29) and rates a top
three chance if back to her best. Fixed odds: $3.70 & $1.40.

1.20 p.m. R2 2 Sneaky Shark (2 c Capitalist - Hidden
Attraction) - Danielle Johnson; won with his ears pricked when trialling here
on 12 November at debuts in the $10,000 Maiden 2YO 1100 metres. By a Golden
Slipper (Gr. 1, 1200m) winner, out of a mare by speed sire Hidden Dragon, and
half-sister to dual Group 1 winning sprinter Atomic Force (Danehill Dancer),
who won the Railway (Gr. 1, 1200m) here. He has plenty in his favour to go well
first-up. Fixed odds: $3.20 & $1.45.

1.20 p.m. R2 12 Millefiori (2 f Iffraaj - Miss Bluebell)
- Matt Cameron; remained strong under a hand ride for a close third when
trialling here on 12 November and debuts in the $10,000 Maiden 2YO 1100 metres.
By a proven international sire, out of a young Savabeel (Zabeel) mare, she is
from the family of Winx (Street Cry). Ideally drawn (2), she has shown enough
at the trials to suggest a bold showing. Fixed odds: $9.50 & $3.10.

1.55 p.m. R3 5 You're Welcome (5 g Camelot - Chorus of
Angels) - Troy Harris; fought hard off a tough trip for fourth in the Rating 65
2100 metres on 14 November at Tauranga, and contests the $27,500 Dunstan
Championship Qualifier (Rating 65, 2100m). Racing in good fettle and he should
go well again with luck from a wide draw (14). Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.15.

3.05 p.m. R5 7 Willpower (5 g Power - The Lady) - Sam
Weatherley; was unable to quicken but still ran okay on rain-affected Slow8
footing when resuming in the Rating 74 1200 metres on 8 November at Hastings,
won by stable-mate and subsequent winner Top Brass (Epaulette). A consistent
performer, drawn awkwardly (9) in the $32,500 Rating 74 1200 metres but capable
of a good effort if appreciative of the course at his first attempt. Fixed
odds: $31.00 & $6.50.

3.05 p.m. R5 13 Vamos Bebe (4 m I Am Invincible -
Hurtle Myrtle) - Danielle Johnson; converted consecutive wins in the Special
Conditions 1200 metres on 19 September at Hastings, before being freshened. She
quickened home strongly to win easily when trialling on 16 November at Taupo,
and rates a top three chance with luck from a wide draw (13) in the $32,500
Rating 74 1200 metres. Fixed odds: $2.50 & $1.40.

4.50 p.m. R8 1 Enrichment (4 g Rock ‘N' Pop - Enhance)
- Joe Kamaruddin (a4); circled from last with a strong finish for second when
resuming in the Rating 65 1400 metres on 8 November at Hastings, and contests
the $27,500 Stella Artois Championship Qualifier (Rating 65, 1400m). He
receives weight relief to 55.5kgs and ideally drawn (3) to race well. Fixed
odds: $9.00 & $3.00.

4.50 p.m. R8 13 Keke Star (4 m Shooting To Win - Kekova)
- Danielle Johnson; was never clear when closing behind the leaders for fifth
in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 7 November at Te Rapa, and steps up in the
$27,500 Stella Artois Championship Qualifier (Rating 65, 1400m). She won well
on debut over 1000 metres in September at Taupo, and ideally drawn (2) to rate
a top four chance. Fixed odds: $6.00 & $2.25.

4.50 p.m. R8 15 Reiko (4 m Reliable Man - Lady Eiko) - Michael McNab; fought well for fifth in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 13 November at Awapuni, and contests the $27,500 Stella Artois Championship Qualifier (Rating 65, 1400m). She shapes as though the step in distance would suit and ideally drawn (4) to produce a good showing. Fixed odds: $15.00 & $4.50.

4.50 p.m. R8 17 Excitonic (4 g Savabeel - Bint
Piavonic) - Craig
Grylls; worked home solidly for fifth when resuming in the Rating 65
1200 metres on 21 October at Matamata, and without much room off the trail in
the Rating 65 1200 metres here on 7 November. He delivered emphatically over
1400 metres in January at Rotorua, and capable of a bold effort in the $27,500
Stella Artois Championship Qualifier (Rating 65, 1400m). Fixed odds: $23.00
& $5.50.
