Te Akau Singapore has nine horses racing on Friday 14 February at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (Dec. 8) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and leads the way with 14 wins this year.





11.20 p.m. R1 6 Pearl King (7 g Iffraaj - Nuance) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. Good second last time and he rates a top four chance.





11.20 p.m. R1 10 Luck Mak Mak (6 g Alamosa - Danewhisper) - C K Ng (a3); drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 53kgs. He is unpredictable and better suited to racing in Malaysia.





12.20 a.m. R3 7 Bejewelled (5 g Minstrel Court - Diamond Jules) - C K Ng (a3); drew the outside barrier (11) in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 49kgs. Has been going keenly, blinkers off, place chance from tough draw (11).





1.20 a.m. R5 3 Dee Mak Mak (4 g O'Reilly - Best Command) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on poly track and carries 56kgs. He strikes a weaker field and rates a top four chance.





1.50 a.m. R6 1 Axel (4 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on turf and carries 59kgs. He should have won last week. Looking to increase rating towards Derby and hard to beat if backs up okay.





1.50 a.m. R6 5 Barbeque (5 g Helmet - Heat of the Fire) - Alysha Collett; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on turf and carries 56kgs. He is proving a head-scratcher.





2.20 a.m. R7 2 Sportscaster (6 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy Dancer) - Simon Kok (a2); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track on carries 56kgs. Disappointed last time and will be ridden more patiently.





2.20 a.m. R7 6 Lim's Rhythm (5 g Rock ‘N' Pop - Paixanito) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track on carries 55kgs. He finds a suitable race to rate a top four contender.





2.50 a.m. R8 2 Beau Geste (5 g Street Cry - Haut Ton) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres the poly track on carries 56.5kgs. Last start winner and he rates a top four chance again.
