Course proper (Dead):

Preparing for the Avondale Guineas (Gr. 2, 2100m) next Saturday at Ellerslie, Rockfast (D. Johnson - main picture on his winning race day) worked against the rail in company with Vive La Difference (Lammas) over 1200 metres in 1:16.4, last 600m in 36.5.

Rockfast (Fastnet Rock) has twice chased home Derby favourite Volkstok'n'barrel (Tavistock) recently in the Great Northern Guineas (Gr. 2, 1600m) and Karaka 3YO Mile (Listed, 1600m), both at Ellerslie, and is looking to turn the tables up in trip. While, a little cut in the ground could see Vive La Difference (Choisir) out next Wednesday in the Rating 65 1600 metres during the twilight meeting at Ellerslie.

Plough:

Angelica Hall (Miller) worked solo over 1000 metres in 1:02.3, last 600m in 36.1. A talented filly last season, winning two and placing second twice in five starts, she is set to resume racing next week.

Three-quarter pace on the plough:

No Tricks (Lammas) 800m, Darci's Dream (Miller) 800m, Costa Viva (Lammas) 800m, Smashing (Samuelsson) 800m, Seline (Zac-Syed) 800m.
