Course proper right-handed (slow)

Spellbinder (Miller) and Wolfwhistle (Dee) produced good work when timed over their final 600 metres in 36.5. Spellbinder is preparing to debut in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on Sept. 9 at Taupo, while Wolfwhistle, who finished third fresh-up on Aug. 19 at Taupo, is scheduled to race again on Sept. 11 at Te Rapa, or Sept. 14 at Ruakaka.

Dreamer (Miller) and Ruthless Lady (Dee) worked up nicely ahead of respective scheduled assignments in the Canterbury Belle Stakes (Listed, 1200m) on Sept. 21 at Riccarton, and the Wanganui Guineas (Listed, 1340m) on Sept. 7 at Wanganui. Each finding the going a touch testing for their liking, they clocked 38.9 for the last 600 metres.
