Plough (Good):
Equanimity (Misbah) and Flirty Gertey (Cameron) came in from the 1200 metres to clock 1:04.2 for the 1000m and 35.9 for the final 600m. An impressive recent debut winner, Equanimity (More than Ready) is preparing for the Special Conditions 1400 metres on Sunday Jan. 26 at Ellerslie, and Flirty Gertey (Thorn Park) contests the Karaka 3YO Mile (Listed, 1600m) at the same meeting.
Speeding (Misbah) and Tiara (Cameron) worked over 1200 metres, covering the 1000m in 1:03.1, last 600m in 35.9. Both are earmarked to race next week, possibly on Wednesday Jan. 22 at Te Rapa.
Cold Snap (Misbah) worked over 1000 metres in 1:05, last 600m in 36.
