Te Akau Friday Trackwork

Te Akau track work Friday May 31

Course proper right-handed (Slow):

Clos De Tart (Stack), Fast Fiction (Miller), and Pride and Passion (Lang) worked over 1200 metres, covering the distance in 1:23 and 38.3 for the final 600m. It was good work by all three as they prepare for upcoming assignments on Wednesday May 5 at Matamata, and Thursday May 6 at New Plymouth.

With suitable races at both venues, trainer Jason Bridgman is biding time before a final decision dependent on track conditions. At present, Clos De Tart holds a nomination for the Benchmark 65 1400 metres at Matamata, where Pride and Passion debuts in the Maiden 1200 metres, while Fast Fiction looks to the 3YO 1100-metre race at New Plymouth.
