4.22 p.m. R3 4 Together (4 m Ocean Park - More to Love) - Shafiq Rusof; came from well back with a strong finish for third when resuming in the Maiden 1100 metres on 23 November at New Plymouth, running her final 600m in a very competitive 34.7. She looks above average and any improvement should make her hard to beat in the $10,000 Maiden 1300 metres. Fixed odds: $3.30 & $1.15.

4.57 p.m. R4 12 Shezathinka (3 f So You Think - Headsup) - Shafiq Rusof; was a stylish trial winner on 8 November at Cambridge, before steadying off the pace in a leader dominated affair on debut in the Maiden 1200 metres on 29 November at Avondale. Her last 600m (34.7) was certainly competitive on the day. Ideally drawn (2) in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres, dam Headsup (Thorn Park) acted on slow ground when winning impressively over 1400m/1600m, so yielding footing should hold no fears. Fixed odds: $5.00 & $1.75.

5.35 p.m. R7 10 Enduring Love (3 f Camelot - Holy Moly) - Shafiq Rusof; fought solidly for fourth behind big winner Queen of Diamonds (Savabeel) in the Maiden Fillies & Mares 1400 metres on 25 November at Te Rapa. Sting out of the ground and ideally drawn (1) should see her race well in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres. Fixed odds: $4.80 & $1.40.
