Te Akau Hastings Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine-race programme for the Foxton Racing Club on Thursday Aug. 7 at Hastings.

As on Wednesday Aug. 6 the conditions were: cloudy and Slow9, rail out 10 metres.

2.19 p.m. R5 4 Secret Whisper (5 g Align - Danewhisper) - Matt Cameron; won in a fresh state over 1400 metres three starts ago and although having had a hurdles trial since last racing he comes in off 54-days. In a field of only eight for the Benchmark 75 1600 metres, he presents in very good condition for the assignment and recent work suggests he is capable of a bold performance.
