Te Akau Hastings Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight race twilight programme on Wednesday 2 March at Hastings.

As on Tuesday 1 March the conditions were: Drizzling and Dead4, rail true.

7.11 p.m. R8 5 Skyscraper (4 g Manhattan Rain - Grand Performance) - Cameron Lammas (main picture); stretched clear after being well rated in front by Lammas to win the Maiden 1600 metres on February 14 at Matamata, and contests the $20,000 Rating 65 1600 metres from barrier five. He has the ability to be competitive in this grade, but strikes a pretty strong field where those above in the handicap appear hardest to beat.
