Te Akau Hits the Century

With 2015 not yet complete, Te Akau Racing was thrilled to celebrate a milestone last Saturday.

When Bishop Rock romped home at Ashburton by a comfortable margin, he became Te Akau Racing's 100th winner across our New Zealand and Singapore stables for the current calendar year.

That's quite a remarkable feat which we are very proud of and is only possible through the outstanding loyalty of our owners and dedication of our training teams in both countries.

It was appropriate that the 100 milestone came up with a David Ellis purchased colt - in fact over half of our 2015 winners have been purchased by David Ellis, the majority from Karaka.

Under Steve and Jamie's guidance in New Zealand (assisted by Pam) and Mark in Singapore (assisted by Gus) - this has been a fabulous year for our owners - and we still have another 10.5 weeks to run, so you can be assured that the winning will continue.

In fact within a day of achieving the 100 century - two more Sunday Singapore wins saw our winning tally for 2015 climb to 102!
