Te Akau Karaka 18 Video Update

What a weekend the team had at Ellerslie's NZB Karaka Million Twilight meeting!

To kick off the night we secured yet another Group race for last year's Karaka Million winner Melody Belle when she claimed the group 3 Mongolian Khan Trophy.  Then we witnessed a gallant second from Embellish in the $1 million Karaka 3YO Classic.

Next the up-and-coming stars of the show took to the track. It was unbelievable (and we were hugely proud) that Te Akau lined up five of the 14 two year old starters in the Karaka Million, landing the quinella.

The victory by Fastnet Rock filly Avantage secured back to back million dollar race victories for Te Akau! She is a very exciting filly that was purchased by David at Karaka this time last year. She now has a record of four starts for four wins.

Team Te Akau has had a busy few days at the NZB Karaka Yearling Sales - so far we have secured 21 yearlings for syndication and we are not slowing down!
