Te Akau Kyneton Tuesday Preview
10 February, 2026
Te Akau Racing has three horses entered on Tuesday 10 February at Kyneton (Victoria).
Kyneton:
Weather: overcast, track: Good4, rail: out 6 metres. No rain forecast.
3:30 (NZ) - 1:30 p.m. (Vic) R1 8 Fully Funded (3 f Snitzel – Bright Path) – Lachlan Neindorf; she was good late after being held up behind runners in a jump out on 29 January at Caulfield, following a big run from last to win a prior jump out on 19 January at Cranbourne. Debuting in the A$32,000 Maiden 3YO Fillies 1218 metres, she is by four-time Australian Champion Sire Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice), out of a very consistent dual winner Bright Path (Lord Kanaloa). She has been training well and we look forward to a good showing from her on debut from barrier six. NZ TAB fixed odds: $5.00 & $1.90.
5:00 p.m. (NZ) - 3:00 p.m. (Vic) R4 10 Precambrian (3 g So You Think – Splendido) – Lachlan Neindorf; he finished sixth on debut in the Maiden 1600 metres on 22 January at Cranbourne, and contests the A$32,000 Maiden 1887 metres. He won a 1400-metre jump out prior to racing, and will be looking to improve second-up if the rider can secure a decent trip from the sticky barrier nine. NZ TAB fixed odds: $5.00 & $1.90.
6:00 p.m. (NZ) - 4:00 p.m. (Vic) R6 8 Get Honor (3 f Savabeel – Honor) – Damian Lane; she dashed through for a smart debut victory in the Maiden 3YO Fillies 1200 metres on 21 January at Sandown, and contests the A$27,000 Benchmark 62 1479 metres. From the family of dual Group One winner Te Akau Shark (Rip Van Winkle), she has ability to prove competitive but she too has a tricky barrier to get past (11). NZ TAB fixed odds: $3.20 & $1.50.
