Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing at the Levin Racing Club meeting on Friday 25 November at Otaki.

As on Thursday 24 November the conditions were: drizzling and Dead6, rail true. 13mls rain forecast 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. race day.

3.58 p.m. R7 5 King Kane (3 g Showcasing - Vannista Belle) - Cameron Lammas; displayed good attributes when clearing Maidens as expected over a mile on Dead4 at Hastings, and following three starts he steps up in class for the $70,000 Wellington Stakes (Gr. 3, 1600m). Drawn out, with visor blinkers on, much will depend on the track conditions and pattern of racing, but he has coped with give in the ground when trialling, his dam won over 1670 metres on slow footing, and he should give a bold showing in a field without a standout.
