Te Akau Manawatu Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven race programme on Friday 4 March at Awapuni.

As on Thursday 3 March the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 5 metres.

5.51 p.m. R6 8 Echezeaux (4 m Encosta De Lago - Grand Echezeaux) - Jonathan Riddell; came from off the pace for a strong trial win over 1200 metres last Tuesday at Cambridge, and resumes 63 days after finishing fourth in the Maiden 1600 metres on January 1 at Hastings. She has drawn wide, but has a very experienced rider aboard and the ability to force the issue following a reasonable trip.
