1.27 p.m. R3 3 Pokuru's Gift (4 g Rock ‘n' Pop - Pokuru Boxer) - Troy Harris; freshened
after resuming with an accomplished victory in the Maiden 1000 metres on
10 October at Tauherenikau. He finished strongly in a quiet trial with Harris
aboard recently at Cambridge, and rates a top three chance from barrier one in
the $10,000 Rating 65 1200 metres.





1.27 p.m. R3 7 Witchery (5 m Savabeel - Now the World)
- Chelsea Burdan (a3); finished strongly to finish second when trialling on 7
November at Taupo, and ran the fastest last 600m (34.0) coming from last to
finish fourth when resuming in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 24 November at Te
Rapa. A second-up winner over 1200 metres, with weight to 54kgs and ideally
drawn (3), she rates a top three chance in the corresponding event.





1.27 p.m. R3 9 Kylie Bax (4 m Pentire - Platinum Blond) -Craig Grylls; dictated terms with an emphatic fresh-up victory in
the Maiden 1200 metres on 9 October at Taupo, and not far away when up in grade
for the Rating 65 1200 metres on Melbourne Cup Day at Ellerslie. Given time (31
days), she can prove competitive with the right trip from barrier 10 in the
$10,000 Rating 65 1200 metres.





2.02 p.m. R4 10 Romantic Lady (3 f Power - Romantic
Time) - Cameron Lammas; recorded a very good victory in the Maiden 3YO 1200
metres on 7 November at Otaki, running home in the fastest 600m (34.6),
following a third (Matamata) and second. Given time (29 days), she meets a much
stronger field up in grade for the $10,000 Rating 65 1200 metres but has shown
enough to measure up.
